A MONSTROUS Announcement (Plus a Giveaway!)

Yes, this is THAT post. The one where I finally get to scream from the rooftops that my book sold. I know. I KNOW. I can hardly believe it either. My fab­u­lous agent Suzie Townsend got the first offer on MONSTROUS in all of eight days back in Sep­tem­ber, but I haven’t been able to talk about it until now.

September & October Reads – 2012

Oh hey, guess who com­pletely for­got to post her read­ing list in Sep­tem­ber? That would be me. Any­way, I read 9 books between those two months. And they were all DELIGHTFUL. Now I just have to read 11 more books between now and the end of the year to reach my goal!

August Reads – 2012

This month I man­aged to squeeze in 6 books (YAY!). Only 9 books behind where I should be to meet my goal of 60 books this year. Also, if you haven’t read these books below, YOU NEED TO GO BUY THEM/BORROW THEM RIGHT NOW. OK? They’re all amaz­ing books and I just want to buy a mil­lion copies and shove them all at peo­ple and force them to read. So yeah, read them. NOW.

The Sister Queens

So, today is a spe­cial day. It’s the book birth­day for THE SISTER QUEENS, writ­ten by the delight­ful Sophie Perinot!! *cue the con­fetti and cake* As a mem­ber of the Agen­t­QueryCon­nect com­mu­nity, I’ve got­ten to know Sophie, her wit, and her will­ing­ness to help oth­ers learn­ing the pub­lish­ing ropes. She’s a class act, a fan­tas­tic writer, and did I men­tion I CANNOT WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON THIS BOOK??
