Twitter an Opera Plot UPDATE

The winner of the Twitter an Opera Plot contest is giving his prize to a Washington DC based music teacher. It’s nice when good people get what they deserve, isn’t it?

Twitter an Operaplot – GENIUS!

I’m terribly disappointed. Somehow, I managed to miss the Twitter an Operaplot contest that’s been going on since March! Seriously, people, someone needs to alert me to these kind of things! The winners have already been announced, but I’m keeping an eye out for next year.

Making a Difference Through Creative Living

This has to be one of the best things I’ve heard all week: One woman’s way to help people through art and music.

To Text or Not To Text, That is the Question…

I haven’t decided what side of the fence I’m on yet, but I can see both arguments. On one hand, texting could provide an innovative marketing opportunity to reach out to the coveted “younger audience,” but on the other could result in alienating longtime patrons who don’t want any activity happening in theatre save what is playing on the stage.
