Marketing 101: How to Pull Off a Brilliant Publicity Stunt

Because of the lan­guage bar­rier, I’m not clear on whether the com­pany was pro­mot­ing Verdi’s La Travi­ata or just hav­ing fun, but if they were doing the show I’d bet a large num­ber of those present  went out and bought tick­ets pronto.

Every sin­gle one of them will tell their friends about what hap­pened to them that day in the mar­ket. What an incred­i­ble way to cap­i­tal­ize on word of mouth and in such a pos­i­tive, beau­ti­ful manner!
